SERIES 541 RESIDENTIAL
Our sliding doors have rightly earned their reputation as the premier door and come with a variety of opening options.
Strength Assured: The extra width of the Vantage Series 541 frame (102mm) gives both frame and doors rigidity, and the different strength meeting stile options ensure suitability for most areas.
Smooth Rolling: We have single roller carriages for light doors and heavy duty double roller carriages for heavier door panels. Flydoors are fitted with large diameter heavy duty spring loaded wheels.
Flyproof Screens: Flydoors are fitted on the outside to make sure insects stay on the outside when you close the door. The custom flydoors are designed to complement the overall appearance of the door unit.
Custom Locking: Vantage have designed their own locks to complement their sliding doors. Only available from licensed Vantage fabricators such as Lifestyle windows.
Wheelchair-Friendly: The gentle sloping custom ‘Nursing Home’ sill section creates a ramp effect, allowing easy access for wheelchairs and walking frames. This sill has inbuilt protection for the door running tracks.
SERIES 542 DSTACKER
This stacking slider is the ideal door when you are looking for an economical wide opening door.
Extra Opening: DStacker™ slider doors open approximately 50% more than a conventional ‘FX’ door. The two sliding panels stack behind the third fixed panel.
Two Stacking Options: They come as three (‘FXX’ or ‘XXF’) or six panel (‘FXXXXF’) doors, with two panels moving towards one jamb and two towards the other.
Glazing: As with other Vantage door types the DStacker™ slider door panels can be glazed with a range of options, including toughened, laminated and hermetically sealed double glazing for thermal transmission reduction. Door panels will also accept 8.38 and 10.38mm laminated glass.
Compatibility: DStacker™ sliding doors can be coupled together or to any other 102mm window or door using one of the custom Vantage couplers.
Flydoors: An optional custom DStacker™ sliding flydoor system can be fitted in front of the glass doors.
Weatherproofing: The DStacker™ Slider has a high water resistance of up to 450Pa.
SERIES 618 MAGNUM
Extra Opening: Magnum™ stacking slider doors open to approximately two-thirds of their width compared to standard sliding doors which open to less than half their overall width.
Two Stacking Options: They come as either a three panel unit, with two sliding panels, or as a six-panel unit, with two panels moving towards one jamb and two towards the other.
Bold Clean Frame: This sliding door is designed to complement the other Magnum™ products with clean flat frame and bold door panels.
Glazing: As with other Vantage door types the Magnum™ slider can be glazed with a range of options, including toughened, laminated and hermetically sealed double glazing.
Compatibility: Magnum™ sliding doors can be coupled to any other 102mm window or door using one of the Vantage couplers.
Weatherproofing: The Magnum™ Slider has a very high water resistance (450Pa) that makes it suitable for most building applications.
Sliding Door FAQs
Our Series 542 DStackerTM doors open 50% more than a conventional sliding door, while our Series 618 MagnumTM doors open to two-thirds of their widths compared to traditional sliding doors, which only open to half their width.
Both our Series 542 DStackerTM and Series 618 MagnumTM doors can be glazed with toughened glass, as well as laminated glass, and double glazing. Our Series 541 Vantage doors boast an extra-wide frame boosting the rigidity of both frame and doors.
